Rocketfish Wireless HDMI
Rockfish is a brand owned by and exclusive to Best Buy. The products are made by unknown manufacturers and then branded and labeled Rocketfish to be sold at Best Buy.
Some of the Rocketfish products have been reported to be of dubious quality while others have performed fine.
Rocketfish WirelessHD Adapter RF-WHD100
The Rocketfish RF-WHD100 Wireless HDMI unit is a single port kit with send and receive units for a single HDMI connection. Resolution supported is 1080p with 60 fps or Hz and 7.1 surround sound at up to 33 feet. AC power supply adapters and two (2) HDMI cables are included. Line of sight is required. These units have been reported to have given good service and picture quality.
Rocketfish 4 Port WirelessHD Kit RF-WHD200
The other Rocketfish wireless hdmi model is the RF-WHD200. This kit is a 4-port model with the ability to connect and switch up to 4 source HDMI inputs. Package includes transmit and recieve units, two (2) HDMI cables, power supply adapters and IR remote for switching between inputs. Several of these units have been reported to lose connection between transmitter and receiver.
Where to Buy
Rocketfish products are available at Best Buy, but these are generally at retail price. Consider checking out the auctions on eBay for a better deal. If you are looking for the 4 port model, be sure to buy from a reputable seller which will accept a return if you have problems with it.
