IOGear GUWAVKIT2 Wireless HDMI PC to TV
This IOGear unit has a USB part that plugs into the computer for transmitting. The receiver is a small box with VGA and HDMI video outputs. Audio output is via HDMI or 3.5mm audio jack. Up to 720p video is supported. This is a good unit for business presentations and other computer uses, and can come in very handy if an HDMI port is not available on the computer. Works with PC and Mac.
Off-Brand and No-Name Brand Units
A few other models of Wireless HDMI adapters can be found, especially on eBay auctions and stores. These units usually have no branding or are marked with an unknown brand name. These units are usually built and shipped from China. The reliability of these should be considered suspect, but possibly worth checking out. Be sure to buy from a reputable seller in case of product failure.
